TA, consider that blacks composed 13% of the voting population in 2012. Approximately 130 million Americans went to the polls that year. Just taking into account 10%, that is 13 million voters. Since Obama got 93% of the black vote, lets just say 9 million plus votes for him (it was slightly higher). If you look at the overall vote number, Obama beat Mitt by 5 million votes. If blacks did not matter, he would have lost by 4 million even considering Hispanics, Asians, etc. Whites voted more for Romeny. Hope that helps. Math is undeniable.
