Quads may have been down a bit, but his conditioning was spot on. Superb midsection and great routine.

Shame about his legs. I guess he had a back injury that hampered his leg training? if he had his legs (and by extension his '98-'99 look) - he could have taken Ronnie that year.

And I know they all, do it, so I'm not particularly picking on Branch, but when did the 90 degree crooked arms become mandatory when standing relaxed? Compare just that aspect of an 80's lineup to one today - talk about ILS...

That's all an excuse about his leg training

Funny after he retires he begins barbell squatting 405-500 for reps, yeah back problems did affect his leg training hahaha more like he's doing it now to push his supplements
