Going into the fight, McGregor said that he he did like Nick & Nate Diaz. He said that they weren't pussies. He said that he had respect for them. Conor did seem to lose all respect for Dos Anjos.

Well, those were short reigns. This was a must win for Tate. A lost would have put her in the back of the line. I wish Cyborg would get into the mix.

And I never understood the advantage of being a loud mouth bragger other than, of course, the money. Everybody is human and you just set yourself up for a bigger fall. That's what I liked about Fedor. Never claimed he was great. Never even said he was special. When asked about being undefeated for ten years he just said it just hasn't happened yet. He didn't seem the slightest bit moved one way or another when he lost to Werdum. Still he was a big draw.

Props to Holly for fighting it out to the bitter end. She showed a lot of heart. After that left to the jaw Conor seem to just give up. As soon as the choke was in, Conor immediately tapped. I thought he would go to the death considering how he talked.

This was the UFC knocking little mac down a few notches. A guy taking a short notice fight, playing games with weight divisions, etc. is a joke. The guy is not even to Andersen Silva level yet.

Even with the purse he gets it was about saving the PPV not his record. This doesn't fit into the story line he sells himself with at all.

I loved everything that happened last night

Conor truly is the man, tho. No excuses. He went up to 170 after constantly dieting down to a crack addict 145, that has to take a toll on ya. But he put everything in the line which noone dares to do these days.

Floyd mayweather never fought GGG, if conor was in mayweathers position he would have fought GGG all day. People need to respect that. Conor is still a champion in my eyes, I'm not a fan boy per se, I just love it when one is willing to reach for his goal even if it means falling first and not give excuses after wards.

Nate killed it tho, but I respect conor, he truly is a man of honor. A good night for the world.
