Ive purchased two bcaa drink mixes in the past one by muscle tech and i can not recall the other one. Booth had the absolutely worst after taste. I couldnt get the taste out of my mouth for a few hours.

Can anyone recommend a brand that i do not have to choke down?

BSN's Amino-X is the best I've tasted.
It's amino profile is pretty much the same as the others.

Another option would be buying encapsulated BCAA's, but you'll pay substantially more for them.

Man sports iso amino tastes great

I used to take bcaa but then I stopped and I haven't noticed any difference

Its not a pure amino drink but it does have quite a few aminos in it, and it takes really good.

Green apple flavor was my preference, but the others are alright.

The MAN sports one is good. They have a sour patch kids flavor

bpi has Sour Candy aminos, they are good, I mix it with a little bit of Gatorade Endurance, too

Betancourt Pure BCAA. I use it intra-workout and again mid-afternoon. Taste is awesome, I do not work for them, they just make a good product.

If Optimum's is the same as when I tried it years ago, the taste sucks. It was unflavored and nasty.

I pretty much stopped buying their products after Costello sold the company.

Ive always loved scivation xtend http://www.samedaysupplements.com/scivation-xtend-intra-workout-bcaas.html. I haven't had any flavor i didn't like. The pineapple is my favorite. the strawberry kiwi is great if you prefer a sweeter taste though. lemon lime tastes like Gatorade if you like those drinks

Scivation has an excellent reputation for quality and taste.

The only reason I haven't tried their BCAA product is that, to my knowledge, they do not make a straight BCAA powder. They all contain other ingredients I do not care to use and/or pay for.

You want EAAs... not BCAAs. Ditch the BCAA drinks and powders and buy yourself from EAA from TruNutrition... then put a huge scoop in your post workout shake.
EAA's are required for protein synthesis and they also contain BCAA's! EAAs are also proven to be more effective and more efficiently absorbed by the body.
Dont waste your money on BCAA drinks or powders!
