Your post(s) on 'the message and free speech' only apply if free speech only belongs to whoever is loudest. One person shouldn't use Free Speech as a weapon against another.

I'm no Constitutional or Bill of Rights expert but generally feel our forefathers original intent was to limit the government's power, not encourage chimp-screaming at public rallies. 

Before anyone gets it twisted: I'm not comparing this incident to yelling fire in a crowded movie theater. I'm simply stating that all American citizens have a right to exercise free speech in a way that doesn't interfere with others.

yep freedom of speech would be greatly stifled. like in countries with dictators, people won't to speak out for fear of violence. you really sound like a  staunch supporter of the land of the free. lol

tbh i think there must be a case for trump being brought up on an incitement charge. hasn't he been talking about wanting to punch protesters etc...would the old guy have done what he did if trump wasn't spouting his nonsense?

Nope, the public is offered an invitation. A distinction with a difference. Of course, that doesn't allow somebody to be assaulted, but it does allow for individuals or groups to be removed if they are being disruptive, as their "invitation" would be considered revoked.

I admit punching the guy was wrongish. There needs to be some balance between rights to express oneself and respecting the rights of others. One asshole shouldn't be able to stop the show.
