What's it like watching a rapid decline in your cultures and forced transition to a globalist culture? Why isn't anyone REALLY doing anything about it?  Do they not see it?  Do you understand the end game in all this? Are you just going to it take because you feel you have no choice? Are you going to accept it because you don't want any trouble? I'm not trying to rally a militia.  I'm just trying to understand your mindsets and engage in friendly conversation.

Progress and equality go hand in hand, so the shaming of those who don't see it like that is only natural as well. Culture shapes society. People are constantly flooded with "progressive" thinking.

 There was a time in America's history that you would actually own your home/properties. That was common. Those in debt were frowned upon. Today you're odd if you aren't indebted to a bank.

I believe some of it is guilt, some of it is the perception that Christianity and gender roles are outdated and not "hip", so we all float on looking to be entertained by the next gadget. It's funny because I really become aware of how blinded the masses are come election time.  People are passionately  opinionated about political parties first  and then the candidates.

The candidates don't offer solutions they attack one another.

The masses pledge allegiance to a broken system. We can't change it, it's been this way since the beginning (or at least since that respective persons lifetime, we have no genuine idea of how the first election was administered as far as debates)  and those who attempt to change the system (say by trying to add a new political party)are labeled as frauds and weirdos.

We draw lines in the sand and force one another to pick a side. We stay polarized and we argue semantics while avoiding the truth.

Most are trapped inside their own world just trying to survive, everything else is inconsequential.

And don't think I don't realize that I'm just as guilty as everyone else just because I'm pointing it out.

I think humanity as a whole is largely doomed, or at least due for a massive extinction level event.  Our planet has finite resources and the human population is expanding at a terrific rate, something's gotta give sooner or later.  The drought/water issues in California this past year are just the beginning.

As for the decline of Western civilization in particular, I'd agree with you if there were some clear replacement.  Who will step in and take our place?  China? Russia?  Isis?  None of these countries are in any position to replace the US as the eminent superpower of the world

You are kind of brilliant, but to declare yourself ahead of your time is a bit of an overreach? Let's get the perspective of being outside of your time before we start sucking the proverbial you know what.

As a typical white male. It was very hard to pull myself away from feeling I had an owning stake in the culture. But now that I have let go (and seen so many flaws in my thinking) I am ready to live my life on a personal level and not live vicariously as part of some team. Life is SO short! I'm no political scientist, but I don't think it's likely.  They have sheer geographic size & population in their favor, but they lag behind the US in every other way.  Their military sucks, economy is unstable (far too dependent on exports), their ecosystem is poised for collapse, they don't develop much research/new technology, and their population is getting too large & too old.

Not that the US doesn't have its own issues but I'd say that our outlook is far rosier than that of China.

It's sad man. It's really sad. I was much more happy when I was oblivious to truth but I wouldn't change it. I craved it and I got what I wanted.
