Good point. Here lately I have seen numerous women drinking whiskey on the rocks. Hadn't seen that until recently. Maybe they're on to something

I was in a restaurant recently and after dinner ordered a Jameson on the rocks. It was brought out by a female bartender who said she wanted to deliver it herself because that's what she drinks and she wanted to say hi. Of course, once she saw how old I was I think her curiosity was satisfied

Laphroaig and Lagavulin need not resort to such blasphemous bullshit tactics. The only "REAL" scotch in the world is Islay single malt.

laphroig has way too much peat for me. I love an oaky taste but it was way over the top for me. Oban 14 is my current choice though I keep McCallan 12 on hand for friends

Diageo is a corporation who's job is to make money and bring product to consumers who are willing to spend money on that product. Their obligation to their shareholders is to make them money in the most legal way possible. So if it suddenly became more profitable to release a whisky geared towards paraplegic hermaphrodites, you bet your ass they'd make Dick Van Jane Sitter whisky. Welcome to capitalism.

I don't have any. I'm not a multimillion international corporation. If it wasn't profitable, they wouldn't be releasing it. And if they're wrong, there will be a round of firings and they will learn from their mistakes. But this has nothing to do with pussification of anything. This has to do with seeing a void in the market and filling that void.
