I actually came across someone performing "dawah" (Islamic evangelising) when visiting a friend at a London university a few weeks back.

His argument for why the Quran was the written word of God was all based on rather nonsensical mumbo jumbo regarding it being a "linguistic miracle".

In dealing with my Christian evangelical siblings I've learned to just occasionally say mmmm, nod slowly now and then, and then don't visit for another six months.
