That sounds a lot like moving the goal posts. Last I checked San Antonio is in Texas, a state known (justly or not) for its 'shoot first' attitude. I might have conceded the point if this had been in San Francisco or another very liberal city.

I would have no problem with these black retards prancing around like commandos if they weren't verbally threatening to shoot police. Also, I'm not contending that all police shootings have been justified by any means but I think it is irresponsible to pretend that incidents like this Tamir Rice kid are equivalent to responsible, law abiding gun owners. Exercising your 2nd amendment rights is not the same thing waving guns around. In addition to that Tamir Rice wasn't a toddler holding a nerf gun that shoots rubber darts. Certain people are playing the game of trying to make a lot of these situations sound like the are all exactly the same when they aren't. Any reasonable, honest person should be able to see that.

And how is that relevant to my argument that a kid with a toy gun got shot (which he did), and that a gang of black men with guns gets a free pass (which they did)?

Don't get me wrong, the gun does clearly not look like a toy, that we agree on. And the cops were clearly 100% wrong here. But I also see the bigger picture, where there is a culture of gun violence (both white and black culture), and the black penchant for being animals with weapons certainly played a part in why the cops were so aggressive/cowardly.

Of course no one expects a 12 year old to be rational, but that doesn't eliminate a potential danger of a weapon.

Now, don't get me wrong, cops make lots of mistakes, but if you point a weapon or something that looks like a gun at a police person, you are going to get shot at.

That's just reality. If someone pointed something that appeared to be a weapon at me, I'd shoot them too.
