What I find odd is that lyric content has taken a backseat in hiphop, and has been forced into the battle rap scene. Now, it seems that most of today's rappers have terrible skills, and like to sing-rap.

battle rappers = Basically diss, and "supposed" to be off the dome.
deep thought rappers= Rappers that write every down, and spend time perfecting the lyrics

then you can break down rappers by rap style
