Cruz was my guy for President for over a year... But at this point, he's just too damaged. Only a blind partisan would look at this list of items and think he's the best conservative option. He's just not. Dos Equis, you can hate on it, call names, etc... but every honest conservative will look at this list and say the GOP should choose Ryan, Thune, anyone but Cruz. Dems look at this list of items and HOPE Cruz wins the nomination.
1. Cruz hasn't sued - for a Supreme court lawyer who brags how good he is - very odd
2. Cruz's email showed up in the Ashley Madison hack last year but was overshadowed by Josh Dugger
3. Washington Columnist said he could confirm 2 of the women.
4. Robert Morrow is on vid saying a prominent Texas republican who runs on Christian values was running hookers up to the Omni Hotel late at night (Same hotel Cruz recently held a fundraiser)
5. Amanda Carpenter (alleged mistress) deleted several tweets about Cruz - calling him cute - they got matching fake tattoos the same day and she's seen wearing his jacket - she also deleted a pic which is still on her instagram that shows her sitting seductively on a bed with no wedding ring on and condoms beside her in a hotel in DC.
6. National Enquirer has broken several scandals - when it comes to celebs they have a very good track record, and always let the info drip drip out - John Edwards, Tiger Woods, Charlie Sheen, Gary Hart, Jessie Jackson etc.
7. Rumors have been circulating for a long time and it was originally referred to as #TheThing which you can find tweets dating back a long time ago - not by Trump - By Rubio campaign.
8. The full DC Madam database of 7000+ entries has been released today on Drudge. Cruz is in there with multiple calls.
1. The story is less than 2 weeks old. I would have to research it but my gut tells me that it takes time to file a lawsuit. I would bet those who have successfully sued the N.E. took much longer before filing the suit so this is irrelevant.
2. A Cruz aide said that although “The email address in question is press@cruz.senate.gov,” that doesn’t mean anyone in Cruz’s senate office was an Ashley Madison subscriber because the address is “a publicly and widely available forwarding address that is often entered into web contact forms by people with no connection to our office.” plausible? maybe
5. Deleting tweets doesn't make a person guilty of anything
6. Gary Hart wasn't one of them and they also have a horrendous track record of getting it wrong. They are like a psychic medium when it comes to these things.. you only remember the right guesses and forget the hundred wrong ones
7. So?
8. We'll have to wait and see.
Cruz certainly could be guilty. He wouldn't be the first Christian politician to be a hypocrite nor the last. But if we've learned anything, it's not to jump to conclusions without all the information.
or have we?
