Cliffs:  TX Deputies arrest man, claiming he assaulted them and resisted arrest while they were trying to detain him for their safety.  The man was jailed for 10 days on $807,000 bond.  Little did the LEO's know, he had a hidden security camera recording the whole thing.

This shit is really fucked up.  This guy was facing prison time.   >:(

Come on now....there must be trick lighting or something going on there!  Most police officers just want to spend the day helping people, then go home to their families.

Caldwell county is a very rural county...40,000 population Total.

Lockhart, is the county seat.  Artists and Hippies that were Gentrified out of their neighborhoods in Austin are moving in there.

The video captured police arriving in response to a bogus call from Faulkenberry's 16-year-old son. The teen, angry that his dad had grounded him for problems in school, told police his father was drunk and waving a firearm.

What a nice son, true getbigger, clearly hoping that police would kill his father during arrest...but it didn't happen, so what now? Father, as I imagine, could be somewhat pissed off about the matter, so would this improve the situation of the teenager? Newa:"Drunk father waving his firearm shot his son to death..."  ;D

If that was the call, their response is reasonable.. until the point where they get all happy with the wrestling and kicking.

It still doesn't explain falsifying documents unless that's what they're trained to do.

The bigger questions is... Why does someone with THAT house need security cameras?

Probably for the best to just start shooting at cops as soon as you see them.

He tried to be compliant and was beaten, falsely arrested, and charged.

Beating his own ass seems to have been the only thing that would have satisfied those cops, LOL!

Police who act in this manner should be placed on a list (similar to how sex offenders are handled) so the public will be warned when hired in other areas. Otherwise it's like when the Catholic Church kept moving Child molesters from parish to parish.

Or the doctors who overprescribe and run pill mills.

Church is still immune, pill mills still run (is there a national list yet available to doctors for who is prescribed nacrotics?), so how can we believe they really want to solve any of this. And by solve I mean eliminate.

Prescribers are supposed to check the database to see if people are doctor shopping. Making a database of over-prescribers easily available might have unintended consequences. :) Also, every patient isn't the same so there might be some harm caused by following a cookie-cutter approach when it comes to managing pain.

"Defendants deny that they used excessive force and unreasonable seizure, fabricated criminal charges, unreasonable search – warrantless search of property".

Basically they deny almost everything.
