John peel (rip) session. John Peel was one of the best known punk rock djs at the time. I listened to many a radio show from him as a kid.

A good friend of mine produced some of Captain Sensibles' solo efforts and is still cordial with him today. Not my kinda music by any stretch but i know a few guys who worship them.
