Looks like the deeply mentally-ill folks that make up the "transgender" (oh fuckin' brother) community (a tiny, microscopic mentally ill fraction of U.S. population) want to go wherever the fuck they want because who gives a fuck. A deranged man that "thinks" he's a female (because he's insane and has had his mental illness indulged for his entire life) and wants to go and stare at your 7 year old daughter naked? Sure! And if you have a problem with that (because you have a brain) then you're a bigot and should lose your job and be sentenced to death. Pedophile gets in and rapes some kids or plants a camera? Fuck you, Johnny the Transgender wants to feel "safe" so fuck your kids. Oh, you pointed out that his chromosomes haven't changed? Those are trigger words! Have fun in jail!

Oh and of course the person that was a big driver of getting the original Charlotte, NC  "Open Bathroom Law" passed is a registered sex offender for diddling a kid that was under 16 years old.

North Carolina has now jumped to the front of the line of states pushing “bathroom bills”—laws that prohibit transgender people from using the facilities that are right for them. Here is my question for the lawmakers who enact these laws: Which facilities do you want trans people to use? Because I don’t think you have thought this through. Or let’s start with a more basic question: Are you trying to eradicate transgender people altogether? Trans people exist. They are human beings. They have just as much right to exist as you do. They are not going to disappear, and if what you really want is to make them disappear, then you are hoping for genocide. Good people don’t hope for genocide.

Even better one is to have to add a third bathroom to every structure in the nation, haha. Being that preoccupied with one's gender and way of dress in unbelievably selfish. I mean who would think that because they feel confused about what gender they are that the entire world needs to change?

Plenty of people decide on a gender and go with it. No problem. You feel like a woman but were born a man? Okay chop it off and get some women's clothes. Voila, go to women's bathroom.

Seems so simple but then you have these people in varying stages of that process.

Perhaps you don't understand the term gender neutral bathrooms.  The bathroom in your house is gender neutral.  The bathrooms on planes are gender neutral. Portable toilets at outdoor events are gender neutral.

Public bathrooms that have a single toilet and a lock on the door don't need to be restricted to one gender.  Small restaurants often have two single user bathrooms, one labeled Men and the other Women. But they both could be gender neutral.

Nope.  No one is asking for that.  The Charlotte law that the NC law was in response to simply stated that businesses could not prevent trans people from using the bathroom that fit their gender expression.

Trans people have been using public bathrooms since there have been public bathrooms. You have probably shared a public bathroom with a trans man, and didn't know it.  But the North Carolina law that you seem to be in favor of will force bearded trans men to use the women's bathroom.  How does that make things better?

Andrew Cuomo bans all non-essential travel to N.C.

N.Y. Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued an executive order Monday banning state employees from using taxpayer funds to travel to North Carolina on nonessential work.

The Democratic governor signed E.O. 155 "to ban any such publicly funded or publicly sponsored travel to such location, unless such travel is necessary for the enforcement of New York State law, to meet prior contractual obligations, or for the protection of public health, welfare, and safety."

The move is the latest political response to Republican Gov. Pat McCrory's Friday approval of legislation by the N.C. state assembly that maintains, in instances of gender-specific facilities, individuals must use that which is identified on his or her birth certificate. In addition, the law bans cities and municipalities from passing laws that would seek to circumvent the overarching state law.

But Cuomo and others, including Seattle Mayor Ed Murray and San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee, have said the move will block anti-discrimination protections for gay, lesbian and transgender people.
