The officer was calm and professional. He would not have issued those tickets without just cause/proof. Could he have issued "warnings", etc.? Sure. But considering Jon's history, the officer was wise to force the issue to court.
On a side note, I chuckle at those who make immature and presumptuous notions about how Jones could "whoop" the cop's ass, at will. Just because Jon is a UFC champion does NOT mean he is some street hero who is a sure bet in a real-life altercation. That officer might just be a tough SOB with miles of experience dealing with thugs and street warriors on their own turf.
I swear some here have very little experience in actual fighting.
Being well versed in formal fight training in schools does not automatically equate to absolute success when it matters.
