I actually gave the comparisons a good look.

Heres my take:

• The guy who took first has far better flow to his physique i.e. watch as they switch poses. You will see that Bostin's arms are far too big proportionally in a relaxed position. This disturbs the flow to his physique.
• The guy who took first has well developed gluteus and hamstrings which are far more proportionate to his physique than Bostin's. This is evident in the side poses, also highly evident in transition.
• The winner wins all poses from the front and side in my opinion, just flows better. Bostin's waist is wide and long, he can fix that over time. Larger quadricep will help also.
• Bostin had spectacular conditioning and greater musculature. The proportions where too off for the judges to reward over the winner. It just doesn't make sense.
  
• Bostin has the belief that bodybuilding shows are won from the back. He won the back double biceps and rear lat spread. Once again his back is MASSIVE so more hamstrings and calves will balance it out nicely and he will go on to win a pro card. Also should reconsider the 3CC haircut, while gutsy it detracts from the phenomenal physique he displays from the back.

If Bostin can keep his upper body size, keep the waistline in check and build more dense muscle to his legs he will be a force to be reckoned with.
To the people in this thread who say he should give it up. You don't understand that competitive bodybuilders go to the gym... They have exercise dependence, that is what they do. You don't just stop going to the gym, competitive bodybuilders almost never do. The competitive flame will always be there... whether he adds gasoline to that flame or not... he will.

It depends, I'd say he'll make it to his late 30's depending if he gets "wiser" and less abusive he might even make it past his 40's and beyond.

Piana has been doing lots of crazy dangerous stuff to his organs for two decades and is in his 40's  and "growing"...

On thing  BB fans don't want to accept is that most bodybuilders abuse steroids just like Bostin do, but because are in the Downlow" (hypocrite about it ) people automatically assume they've been cautious

Boston's conditioning was slightly better and he had a much better V taper. The other guy lacked quad separation had a weak chest and was a bit too blocky. Even though Bostons legs are kind of thin they were separated nicely. Still got him for the win.

Exactly!  Remember everyone gushing over Flex Wheelers full round muscle bellies? The guys at the my gym and I were laughing talking about how he's over injecting into his muscles...but it seems everyone loved it at the time.

If you can pick up on it...then its too much. Just like photoshopping...if you can tell...its no good.

Bostin's biceps are bigger than his tri's...tri's are a bigger muscle and should not be smaller than bi's. This is where he screwed up...BUT MARKUS RHUL HAS THE SAME PROBLEM AND HE WAS A PRO.

best he's looked on stage complete at this point.key is his offseasons now are to stay big plus watery lean ,not his old ways where he couldn't train due to infections or not training at all..he could do well ..

It's crazy how the forum attacks him for being honest about drug abuse -- that's the only thing that separates him from other bodybuilders out there. Every single person on an IFBB stage is and has been a longtime drug abuser.
