stllalone almost got killed by lundgren filming rocky 4.   i believe his lung collapsed and he was in i.c.u

lundgren did have legit fighting skills back in the day .

Got punched in the chest and ruptured the sac around the heart according to sly. Carl Weathers also almost quit because dolph was throwing him around like an old rag.

dolph was a true physical specimen back then ,  you can tell stallone respects him to, he has never ever had anything bad to say about lundgren

and even cast him in all the expendable movies.    i believe dolph trained in kyokushin back in the day .

Agreed. There are some huge guys that you don't fear getting hit by. But Dolph as always just looked like he could knock you into the afterlife. This is why his punisher is still my favorite. Huge mf'er throwing around little yakuza guys and weilding an m60. That's right out of the comics right there.

Talked to Sully at Golds Venice in mid February.  He actually looked very good. Tight, some real muscle. He's absolutely Sarah Palin shithouse rat crazy unfortunately.

Never saw this. Good video... Dolph has a pretty good chin. The other guy was the more talented boxer. I wonder what Carl Weathers would have looked like in the ring? Probably a lot like Dolph here. Jabs and missed power punches.

Thanks for the update, he's still living the dream I see.  Hadn't seen him since the 90s and then randomly saw him on a tram in Vegas some time in the early 2000s.
