Looks like he was working out in the before pic but was on a mega bulk. Then, he just dieted.
I don't think the amount of lean muscle he carries changes that much between the two pics. His bodyfat obviously did.

Yeah, he's doing the old "before and after" diet tricks. You can see that he was probably reasonably fit before if you look at the traps, chest, serratus, and thigh line. I would bet he's pushing out his gut too.
