2 weeks after his 4th place at the Arnolds classic back in the 90´s i was at a Seminar with Achim Albrecht in cologne-Germany held not far from the "American fitness-shop" at Breite Straße/Gertrudenstraße in a (former) Cinema. Edgar Fletcher (US-HW-Amateur) was also there. Achim did guestposing and after he answered some Fan-Questions.
I can remember that he said there, that if he had knewn before how much he had to put in this "Job" to be a Proff.-Bodybuilder, he would had stop much earlier. He said that he competes only by the fact that he was good in Bodybuilding, but the effort he had to take for many years to get to that Level, and also stay on that Level didn´t worth it. And not so Long after he ended his BB-Pro-Time. After he was in Wrestling, and some other Kind of Jobs. Today he is a Trainer (last Thing i read about him).
All over he seemed to be a relative aggressive Person in his Bodybuilding-time, and moved to many gyms and places in Germany (Münster, Oberhausen, Neustadt-Weinstraße,....) before he went to the US.
