Can tattoos really cover scars? Doesn't the raised scar cause issues? ???
A good Tattoo artist and i use the word "artist" because the colours and work is much better now. They would use colour and shading to cover it. The scar will always be there. Now you get "cover ups " of old Tattoos but they are very hard to do unless skilled like your question scars.

haha, the people on that first page are batshit crazy lol

Lol once tatted it looks like youre hopeless.

I wonder what happens when someone turns on the tv, uses a cell phone or posts on the Internet or are the spirits laughing at our primitive technology and focused strictly on using techniques thousands of years old to torment people?

I guess it might be the artist skill level. I have a small scar ( 1/2 inch) on my upper left arm, I got from playing with my bro when we were kids. Tattoo artist refused to tattoo on it.  ???

I got a naked woman tattoo on my right inner arm covered with a coy fish some years back because i work as a personal trainer. You can see some parts of the old Tattoo. However as i wrote now there is better Ink, needles, better Artists.

they cant tattoo on scars mate

dont listen to the armchair experts

Image result for can you tattoo on scars
Raised scars don't always take well to tattoos as they are more sensitive than normal skin or non-raised scars. The process may make your skin and scar sore. Some scars also damage the nerves in your skin which make getting a tattoo extremely painful
.

can cause nerve damage so good tattoo artists will steer clear

a good Artist can do it...

I can see that. You have to be confident/good. My wife and I got wedding ring tattoos and a lot won't attempt to do those for various reasons.

well this is an extreme example of a scar. mine was much smaller. the worst part as mentioned was the colour. looked like cancer.

funnily enough it was slightly raised before the tattoo and now is completely flat. it's basically invisble.

I guess it might be the artist skill level. I have a small scar ( 1/2 inch) on my upper left arm, I got from playing with my bro when we were kids. Tattoo artist refused to tattoo on it.  ???

I went to a tattoo artist who stated explicitly that he does tattoes over scars. I was also warned that the tattoo might not pick up the colour properly but it did luckily.
