labrada shouldve won in 1991. he was the best in 1990 also.wheeler;'s back wasnt thick enough. his legs were on the slim side for a massive pro also.flex had great arms and delts. calf implants means he wasnt the best BB at all IMO.yates had a huge back, quads, calves and decent pecs and was granite dry. thats about how it went..
Vince Taylor beat Labrada in 1991 and deserved it. Labrada looks good in pics but in person next to Dorian and Haney it's no contest.
That video shows how superior Yates was. Flex and Shawn look great in their own right, but get waxed next to Yates - his side tri shot shows it well.
I met Lee Labrada in a movie theater in San Antonio once.....he was very nice, very short, pretty thick and very wide.
Dude got up to 200 pounds before retiring. For someone of his height that's HUGE.
Ronnie's midsection just ruins it
I think one is doing a vacuum and the other isn't. Epic good comparison as per.
Lee at 249lbs compared to Ronnie at 247lbs Lee is relaxed in his pics
Like I said, Lee Haney is the greatest bodybuilder of all time. He is the total package. Physically, mentally and spiritually. Arnold is a severely flawed man with bad taste in women. Not mention, some of his shows he won were rigged to push an agenda. But I digress. Lee Haney is the greatest.
I read an article that Haney was as high as 259 pounds for one of his Mr. Olympias. Which year was that?
this,...not one of his competitors or anyone else for that matter ever had a bad word to say about him, the consummate professional and true gentleman.
89 He was admittedly to heavy and not in great condition.
At 52 seconds you can see Matarazzo looking at Yates as if to think..WTF
Matarazzo told me one time that when he first competed against Haney he was walking out from backstage directly behind him and thought "holy shit" when he saw Haney's back.I remember thinking Holy Shit just looking at Matarazzo and wondering what it must be like to be that jacked and still in awe of someone else.
