Standard bodybuilding drug stuff, plus being a real dick during the Muscle Mayhem years. So much stuff on him came out of disgruntle ex posters during that era, it was hilarious.

Roids abuse.
Not the first bber to suck a dick and he wouldn't be the last. It is funny how the fan base of a beauty pageant with men in thongs can be so homophobic.

Like saying a shotgun is safer than a handgun.  Both make Swiss cheese out of your liver.

Never was much of a fan of Prince physique. As as pro he always had that monster gut, and he just had a funky looking build ,with stubby legs.

Not the steroids, just Advil plus kidneys that were extremely senstive to NSAID's.
96 out of 100 people would not have reacted this way, even with these high doses.
So he was just very very unlucky....you can't tell upfront.
Just pity the fool...........

I'm no fan of his proportions either, but in terms of conditioning there is a 20 second or so vid on YouTube of him posing where he's got some of the thinnest skin I've ever seen - very impressive, but it makes you wonder about the diuretic side of things too... (can't post clips from a tablet though  >:()

Edit: found it, and it wasn't as impressive as I remember, but his face is still pretty drawn 'old school'

Too much protein in the diet, red meat. Advil was a cover because he didn't want to sound like a vegetarian.

Yup, that's why I specified "as a pro", because he looked great as an amateur like most of those guys during that period. He won that NOC and qualified for the Olympia too but his placing was a big disappointment.

Why backtrack?  The clip stuck in your mind for a reason.  He reached his peak and looked great for a while.

*sigh* You're right, vacillation makes a person look terribly indecisive... or does it?

Yes... it definitely doesn't... (probably?  :P)

I remember having bought this off of the magazine rack in the 90's..

I remember that set of photos too.  At the risk of a tiny thread derail, there was a number of shoots around that period that look to me as though they might have taken place in the same area due to the quality of the lighting - almost like they were partially outside or something.  For some reason I'm also thinking they were Lund shoots?

One I remember was the infamous 'Daisy Dukes' shoot, and another may have been Achim Albrecht's (PIP :D) cover .

(If there is anything to this, I BET that someone knows exactly what this location is/was  8))
