At least Bernie outperformed Obama when he went against Clinton in 08.

Bernie: 752,739 votes giving him 42.1% of the vote (With a 1.6% still to be counted)

Obama: 751,019 votes giving him 40.32% of the vote

Bernie spent 5.6 MILLION DOLLARS in New York. I saw his ads every 15 minutes when I had the TV on. Trump spent $67,000 total in New York. Very sad considering this guy took all these donations from very poor people who literally gave up meals to support his old socialist ass.

I hear you. Although Strawman is on the right side of pretty much every issue. I'm as frustrated as you with the political system and in particular the democratic party. Hillary is a 70's republican. Pretty much like Obama. What really frustrates me is that everyone acts like Bernie is this radical and unelectable candidate when his ideas are no more progressive than those of FDR, Kennedy or LBJ. I am in a pickle as it pertains to November. Do I vote Hillary knowing that were still moving right but at a slower pace? Or either not vote for president or god forbid vote for the republican hoping that 4 or 8 more years of total GOP control will finally drive this country in the abyss much worse than what Bush did? With the hope being that this cataclysmic series of events would finally wake people the fuck up and actually vote for candidates like the great Bernard Sanders.

I've said many times that I like Bernie as well. I don't think he perfect. Far from it. The same of course goes for Hillary, but when TA makes the statement that Hillary has "ZERO chance of beating whoever the GOP puts up" it's just fucking stupid and blatantly false based on all the polling data available

I completely agree. She beats Trump and Cruz in the latest polls. Trump she beats by a wider margin.

I don't believe that at all, Kasich is 1 for 38 and the polls indicate he would beat her...get fucking real. Trump is filling stadiums, and Hillary has trouble filling a small venue. Dishonest media.

I think trump *can* pull the numbers his way. His unfavorables with many groups were worse. He has improved. people "get used" to things. kobe retired a hero after being a hated ass-rapist of a teenage girl. People change their minds.

I do trust the polls saying Kasich does better against Hilary. He's not abrasive. People don't feel either way about him. They hate hilary, but many REALLY hate trump. With Kasich, they don't feel anything, so Hilary's negatives are pulling that poll.

If it's Trump against hilary, I think Trump performs okay in polls once it's just those 2, and once Trump decides to stop the nicknames. That rallies the base but people in the middle see him being an ass, calling others names. "I'll start acting presidential in a few weeks" is not a good way to go. Cause ACTING presidential is that key word there. Reagan WAS presidential. Trump promised to start ACTING that way.

So you don't believe the polls that Hillary beats Trump (which I believe is every poll) but you do believe the polls that show Kasich beats Hillary?

Ron Paul filled stadiums too and he was un-electable (and much more likable that Trump)

Trump has huge negative ratings (and Hilary slightly less) with people in his own party saying they would just stay home. This week one of the Koch brothers suggested he would prefer Hillary over Trump (going only from what I saw in the headlines)

The primaries seem to often be disconnected from how the electorate votes in a general election, especially during a presidential race.

I do think Kasich vs. Clinton would be interesting but I don't see that happening.

Then again, I didn't see Trump still being in the race at this point either.
