yep.  they all run parallel with the big roads and split off on blocks.   Nice if you own a boat.  You only notice them when a 12 foot gator crawls out of them to eat your poodle.

down here, you train your kids to avoid police and the gators.  and i'll give police credit, they do try in recent months, they have improved the public connection angle a great deal.  body cameras changed everything.  So polite now.   20 year old kid beat down on camera at a bar called Hustlers, broke his leg in 6 places after already being in the cop car, taken out and punched.... from there, they changed everything.

they're pretty good at blasting most of the mosquitoes.  ya still get bit up a bit if you're walking at dusk, but it's not nearly as bad as in decades past.  living in south FL is nice.  Summers are hot, but almost everywhere is air conditioned.

Actually Miami has been in the shitter for 15 years at least now.  When Andrew pulled the trigger on Versace, he also murdered the entire "Miami" culture too.  I live 25 minutes away and will only go down twice a year.  Fucking shitty ass Cubans and PRs ghetto-ing the place up and sliming their way around town.

And the "Miami Whites" are even worse.  Even their fellow countrymen can't stand their Bill Gates - On - A -Budget pompous asses.

and I also realize that there is a LOT more going on beyond all that Art Deco/Patrick Nagel image that comes when Non-Miami-ians think about Miami

....however- even with all of that aside I would much rather live in Miami than Boca......even this skeptical New Yorker is willing to buy into that facade about what people tend to think about Miami and what it really is (barrios, Haitians, Sexualy transmitted diseases et al)

You don't need to be in the same field of business to learn about business from someone. Bill Gates learned a lot from Warren Buffet. Buffet never ran a software company, but Gates still got benefit from being mentored by Buffet.
But I guess if you're not able to extrapolate advice from someone who is successful to your own success, then may as well not waste anyone's time.
