MUSCLE SHAPE PRE OR POST DETERMINED??

Here is my problem... look at the difference in muscle shape from Arnold to Branch. Arnold looks like he got muscle on top of muscle and branch looks 1 dimensional with that kind of chest. Branch's chest is big but has no layers to it as opposed to Arnold's. Do you see what I mean and do you agree it is because of their different training techniques?

Arnold did not have gigantic shoulders like Branch therefore his chest looks less complete.But in reality he might be just as inpressive in the chest development.

 Probably just different ribcages, or just a different level of ribcage expansion.
