OK but seriously, he really looks like the Strydom of old.  Wow.  And look how skeletal he looks in the face.  It will be interesting to see how he does at the Denver show.

maybe these guys see what ronnie can look like at 42 and it inspires them.

maybe it's in the genes. Albert beckles and so forth. Serge Nubret also looked pretty insane a few years ago.

well, even if he wasn't born in 1930 (or 38), he was probably born pretty soon after.  So, if he wasn't doing pro shos at 62, he was doing them in his mid fifties and holding his own . . . which is pretty amazing. oliva had a comeback too, come to think of it.

I think people underestimate what it means to be born with amazing genetics.  all the drugs in the world aren't going to turn me into Kobe Bryant or Barry Bonds . . . and all the supplements in the world aren't going to turn me into someone like Beckles.

Good review. About the joints . . . maybe deca, and not just aspirin . . . and the genes that allowed him to become a champion weightlifter in a matter of months.
