My take:
Had Arnold not retired in 1975, he would easily have won 1976 through 1979, which is 4 more before his 1980 win, which had he not taken a 5 year layoff, he would have been even more impressive by 1980. He would also have easily won 1981 and 1982, which is 13 sandows by that point. If Lou entered in 1983 in his Hercules condition he would have given Arnold a run for his money big time. Now consider this, Arnold was never forced to really up his bodyweight and play the size game, because he was a giant among men during his time, but come 1984 Lee would push Arnold to come in at 260 pounds onstage and 280 offseason, seeing he had minimum 2" on Haney back then. That Arnold, combined with bringing up his legs and overall definition/conditioning which he was very capable of doing, would have crushed every competitor until 1993 when Dorian showed up at close to 260 pounds of granite. So, it's conceivable that Arnold could have won 23 straight sandows, spanning from 1970 through 1992. That said, it's possible that Arnold would have pushed Haney as well, seeing Haney didn't have a lot of competition back then either until Yates came around in 1991. Either way, Arnold would have easily won every Sandow from 1970 to 1983 (unless Lou showed up in 1983 in Hercules condition), so that's minimum 13 or 14 years of titles for Arnold.
