Why do people say I look massive but I don't think I do?

You never see yourself growing, im on a cycle and my friends (non lifting betas) would tell me how big im getting. I just see myself "fuller" although i gained like 6kg in less than 6 weeks.

My theory on this because I've noticed the same thing; when you are looking at your self in the mirror it is from eye level, but when you take a photo with your phone (or someone else takes a pic) it is rarely directly up in front of your eyes like when you look at your reflection, so the angle is one that you are not necessarily as photogenic in. Plus the flash on some phone cameras or image quality seems to wash out a lot of details that our eyes pick up.

unless youre 100kg shredded to the bone youll always look tiny as fuck next to an IFBB pro (who you compare yourself too)
