Theres one in my gym. Its absolutly retarted and even at the highest level of strengh it still doesnt mimick pulling anything close to the body weight of a human being, no matter how small you are.
They also put a punching machine when there are several squares and you need to punch the square that lits. Sad thing is some down syndrome momos are actually using this shit.

Neither does an assisted chinup/dip station.

Tons of machines are functionally useless against their freeweight analogue

The assisted chin/dip station is actually very good at getting untrained people ready to actually do their own bodyweight.

Back in my days as a trainer, I would have clients do the assisted chin/dip, but I would also add in negative only chin/dip.  Magically, each and every one of them, including the dude who was 100 pounds overweight when we started, was eventually able to do 4-5 reps at each.

calm down girls. not trying to make a statement or a training tip. just showing a machine my new UFC gym has. 5 sets of 30 seconds pulls with 30 seconds of rest between pulls
kicks your ass. thats all. just a good way to finish a workout.
