A "mature woman" has no power in a relationship with a young(er) man, because he has a way better chance of going out and finding a girl his age or younger, while she has a snowball's chance in hell of finding another young guy to lure into bed (at least long term).
I say this because I had a fling when I was in university with someone 8 or 9 years older than me. Now, she wasn't what you'd consider a "mature woman." I was 20 and she was 28 or 29 or something, but even in that case I held all the power. Once I found a girlfriend (who was a couple years younger than me) I easily cut off the older girl because I had no intention on being in an actual relationship with her.

I think they mean a young guy with a garbage job living in his mother's basement or in an apartment with a room mate to make the rent doesn't have the power. Many older women that are their age own a home from their previous marriage and are set financially.

Yes. I rarely every see a 30 yo female who's still hot. But I DO see sometimes, thats for sure. Very strict care, good genes, not abusing body, yes, it does happen, but overall - young ones are where it's at. They get the power early on, men have to earn it by the blood and sweat, but earned power is a lot more resilient to time, and they loose it just as fast as they get it.
