Unfortunately, that will be the case. I dont get why he keeps abusing his body. I mean, hes not doing it for the money. He already runs his own gym and freight company (based on information from the internet).

Who knows how much money he has, but clearly hes doing nicely for himself (based on his home). Why continue to destroy your body (e.g., Ronnie Coleman).

He was more than decent. He made it into tier 1, but, yes, it is time to retire and enjoy life off the contest stage. 2004-2007 were his best years.

His body is shot to hell. If anything, getting off the competitive treadmill, no matter what length of time, will only yield even WORSE results. At his age, to halt the momentum is competitive suicide. Not that he's going to do anything but sink in the placings, anyway.

As was said, almost everyone agrees: Branch's body is deteriorating, rapidly. The man looks atrocious.

Everything's bleeding into everything ... no muscular fullness and "freshness" ... lines beyond destroyed ... tired, worn, clearly injured/torn ...

Game's over. The gift placings of the past few years will very soon stop.
