Maybe they want to see it but who wants to live in that Body? I mean Day in Day out with that size? Looking at and being that "Freak" is another number. I am not in any way putting them down but they are "products" of "menschlichen Bedürfnis"..
Ever been to the Preakness or any other horse race? I don't want to live in the body of a jockey or a horse, but I do want to see what they can do on the field. For most people patronizing sporting events is not about wanting to live in their bodies; it is about seeing something taken to an extreme: performance, speed, strength, size, agility, etc. Historically, body building has been about extreme size and lean conditioning. Even the "fans" who claim to dislike where the sport is now or where it's going are still buying magazines & videos, still attending show and expos, and still closely following the huge participants they claim to disapprove of or be disgusted by. Two horses died at the Preakness recently. Horse racing fans aren't going anywhere... and neither apparently are body building fans.
Bah!
