One group is trying to support their candidate or possibly hear him speak to learn more about him.
The other group is there to harass and intimidate with violence.
I don't care if they were there to feed the poor. The trump speech was over, they were marching with their banners, and they met up with another group of differing ideology. ANd both sides went at each other like idiots.
I can't fall for "they were just there so support their candidate" because both sides were there for political public display reasons. The speech was over, and they weren't walking to their car. They were walking public streets in formation with their sign to gain public awareness for their cause (pro trump). And the other idiots were there for their cause.
The kid was mad, I get it, I would be too. But he threw the punch, he ran at the other dude, he stepped right into the trap. The mexican didn't walk up and punch him - he snatched at hat (missed), then he snatched at shirt (may have torn it).
The trump kid threw the first punch after rushing the antagonist. The antagonist was probably a paid troll who KNEW that "attempted theft of a $9 shirt" wasn't something you go to jail for, BUT punching a human being (what the trump kid did) IS something you go to jail for.
We have that on the beach here in S Florida. This religious group (a company of ten people)walks around with banners and megaphones, harassing drunk people on vacation about how they're sinners, etc. And their main speaker has 2 people videotaping the whole thing. They walk into groups of rich-looking vacationers and talk shit until one throws a punch. Then they call police and file charges, and sue. They make an awesome living just legally antagonizing people all day. Talking shit into a drunk person's face, using a megaphone, telling him that his woman is a whore and he's going to Hell... YES, many people shove or swing. ANd legally, they just cannot do that, no matter how annoying this person may be.
I'm sure this idiot was the same thing - but the trump supporter needs to be smarter than that.
