For example: I see pro's eating like 6 400 calorie meals a day and still maintaing 250 lbs. You've gotta be kidding me. That's 2400 calories a day. I would be an emaciated skin and bones dieting on 2400 calories a day.

meal 1: 4 eggs and 2 pieces of ezekial bread (400 calories)
meal 2: 6 oz chicken breast and 1 cup rice (400 calories)
meal 3: protein shake and almonds (400 calories)
meal 4: 6 oz chicken breast 1 cup rice (400 calories)
meal 5: 6 oz steak and broccoli (400 calories)
meal 6: 6 oz fish and greek yogurt (not even 400 calories)

Shit is like eating baby meals, yet I see IFFB pros eating diets like this. Hilarious... just shows they are all on boat loads of drugs to maintain their mass.

Either they are lying about their diet plans on social media and eating way more than this or they are on tons of gear.

I remember a video Justin Comtpon put out where it showed him prepping all his meals for the day and at the end it said that the meals he made totaled to over 6000 calories. It was like 5 little kiddy meals which included a little chicken wrap with some cheese on it(1 meal), some yogurt with peanut butter in it (1 meal), and some other various meals with meat and 1 cup of rice or a little baby sweet potato. Absolutely laughable how much these dudes either lie or are just that clueless about how many calories they are eating. 6000 calories? Ya right, more like 3000.

Mostly drugs, I doubt many of these guys even have to watch their diet much until several weeks out from a show anyhow given that they have a walking pharmacy inside of them.

The basal metabolic rate for a 30 yr old male weighing 250lbs, varying from 5'10" to 7' tall is only 2,000 to 2,300 calories. Use anti catabolic drugs and only do it for a few weeks it's believable. Plus even stuff like bcaas and L glutamine, it can help preserve mass. When you're bloated with water, your real lean mass is lower than you think too.

You ask this question as if this is your first time ever posting on a bodybuilding forum.  ???

You cannot stay at 250lbs eating 2000 calories a day, don't care what drugs you are on. Try 3000 absolute minimum.

OP does nothing but ask weird questions like this.

Suspected gimmick. Nearly a third of his posts are created threads.

Maybe I misunderstood what he was asking. Dieting down to 250 with 2400 call per day isn't crazy.

Well known that bodybuilders and numbers don't really go together

Forget what any pro says, what any magazine writes, what any YouTube video shows... it's all just one piece of the puzzle at a time.

The whole remains a mystery.
