I read in the .uk article that the shooter had previously pledged allegiance to a terror group.

This should be a no-brainer to remove his ass from this nation.   I cannot believe a person swearing to terror groups can get a gun permit.   His ass should get sent out, period.

Large populations of whites with guns and few gun laws are as safe or safer than any place in Canada.

The same cannot be said about any other race/population density.  Hell, they even have strict gun laws in those minority areas and they kill each other for sport.
