Moving to Thailand/Cambodia And Living Off Passive Income?
« on: June 16, 2016, 07:23:31 PM »
Anyone ever considered it. Steroids over the counter, hot willing asian women everywhere, cheap cost of living, beautiful nature, becoming more modernized. Seems like a dream come true.

Most of us getbiggers are experiencing that in America already.

If your passive income is from renting out rooms for ladyboy clientele, then yes. As long as I get freebies.

It sounds like a good idea. I am thinking about it as well. The best thing to do is to spend some time there and to see if you really like it. Thailand would be my first choice. I dream of a live without work. Just sex, joga and working out :)

Thailand is nice but everything there is fake. Including love and steroids. Just keep that in mind. I wouldnt like to live here its just too poor and dirty to me.
Maybe in downtown Bangkok but then you lose the cheap factor.
Only way to become a millionaire in thailand is to enter the country being a billionaire  ;D

passive income is a tricky topic in these years. The stock market is whipsawing up and down and the bond market is also volatile and dangerous.
For passive income, I would diversify my investments highly in something like this:

20% stocks of mixed nature
40% IG corporate bonds
10% government bonds
10% crowd lending (i.e. Lending Club)
10% mixed risky stocks (Nasdaw biotech index, gaming ETF etc.)
10% cash

Two of the folks I used to hang out did it and never looked back. They love their food/ladyboys and the fine weather.

it sounds great. ive thought about it. i think it would be harder than i think though. i mean honestly how much cash do you need to make that leap and live well? 100k in hand? i think alot more if you wanted to retire and hang out in a decent area there. also, just doing things like having access to your investments, a bank, organic foods, health care, housing, (priced made high for rich whites ) etc. seems like it would be a major hassle.

I think it's rather cheap as one of the chaps is really poor. He used to be a junky, worked on and off, and said he "will be opening a little business" down there and just left. He still is there and bulked up to 300lb on alcohol, food and trannies  ;D
As far as I know he's working a bar/bungalow with lots of time to spare.
The other one is really wealthy and dwells on Viagra and yellow poon.

There are people down their who just get their mini-pension from Europe(~950$) and live an easy life. Many ex druggies do this and the loophole is pension as it can be, in contrast to welfare, sent outside the country.
