Ha check this out , i am not a connor mcgregor fan at all.     but i will give him his due, he can sell a fight.  the ufc has been fucking him over big time  with no lube in the pay department.

according to forbes  the ufc has paid connor a total of 18 million for his past three fights.  which isnt shit for the money he has made them. here are the ppv numbers for his last three fights,   i believe all three of these ppvs whent for 65.00 a pop.   now factor, in ppv keeps half the sales.

I never get this kind of argument and thinking. It shows a complete lack of understanding of a free market economy. Every seller wants to get as much as possible. Every buyer wants to spend the least amount possible. They make a deal.

If Conor, not you, feel he is underpaid then why is he fighting? Why doesn't he go somewhere else to get a better deal. You put your goods or services on the market and sell to the highest bidder. You always want more but it's not about getting only what you want. There are buyers to contend with and they are also looking out for their best interest. Which means paying as little as will be accepted by the seller.

And only the buyer and seller should determine what that price is. It doesn't matter what you, or anybody else, thinks insofar if it's a good or bad deal. You're not involved and suffer zero consequences in the transaction. If you can offer a better deal then do it.

It should be noted that most amateur athletes by definition don't get paid for competing in their sport and in most case have to pay to compete. I spent a fortune over the years competing in Jiu-Jitsu tournaments ($60-$120 per tournament). Most aspiring fighters will gladly fight for free on a UFC card.
