Can see them rigging the election so the UK stays in. All the big businesses are against leaving.
They government has already used a lot of scare tactics to pressure people into staying.
The murder of Jo Cox may also play a part in how people decide.

It ll be fixed to stay, why some people would change their vote just because someone they d never heard of a few days ago was murdered I'm not sure.

neck and neck at the moment, leave had some daylight on the polls up until Sunday. I think David Cameron's q&a last night may have saved the day for the remain campaign, if they were ever in danger because if you have big business so strongly on your side then you'll always get your way in the end.

But simple fact is, if we remain and aren't happy with the aftermath of it (no doubt that we won't be because Cameron isn't getting the EU to reform if it's the last thing he does) then we can hold another referendum in 5 years time.
But if we choose to leave and we're fucked because of it then there isn't a reset button.
Cameron played on this point yesterday and with most of the UK's undecided voters likely watching, I think he's swung it for the UK to remain in the EU.

The UK needs to break free and take back its nationalistic pride.

Once again become GREAT Britain.

Polls are split in half right now, but even if they weren't it wouldn't mean anything. They predicted a narrow Labour win last year and exactly the opposite happened.

I have no idea what's going to happen.

Leave is by far the worst option.

I'm more in this line with this thinking.  Considering the consequences, I don't think they'll allow UK to leave.  The implications are too chaotic.

They'll lie, cheat and steal to ensure this happens.

Yes. The same goes to every EU country. EU legislation only benefits Germany after all. I'm tired of seing my country in a permanent gutter, without a chance of being self suficient.

If Britain leaves, the rest of the EU will start unravelling. It would be political poison to the long-term project to create a single federal European superstate.

It would not have a great effect economically,as Britain is not in the Eurozone ie still has its own currency-the pound. The likes of France,Italy,Spain,Germany etc gave up their Franc,Lira,Peseta,Mark for the Euro currency.....

no

the EU has got a bit out of hand with it's political creep but the UK can't afford to lose access to the european single market , too much trade is dependent on it. and no it won't be rigged or a conspiracy. it will simply be because more people vote for "in" than "out".

portugal is a 3rd world country (nice for holidays though) but no one would notice if it left the EU.

Britain had a £20 billion trade deficit, last month with Germany, the country that calls the shots in the EU.

If we do stop trading with Europe ,German companies and their employees are going to experience a lot of pain.

Scotland leaving the UK would have been a bit braver, than the UK leaving the EU, as the Scots share the same currency as the rest of the UK,the pound, and the same central bank ,the Bank of England.

The UK,as I mentioned, doesn't have the Euro as its currency and the European Central Bank(ECB) as its central bank.

The Brits never joining the Euro essentially is them saying they're not part of the EU so what's the point of this vote?

2/7 is biggest price you can currently get on an "in" vote.

The Brits never joining the Euro essentially is them saying they're not part of the EU so what's the point of this vote?

The UK is in the EU and belongs to the EU single-market,which means a commitment to freedom of movement goods, services, labour and capital.

There has been a huge influx of migrants, offering cheap labour, from Eastern Europe(most notably Poland),to the UK,in recent years, after they were admitted to the EU. There is also the anxiety about accession of Turkey and the fear that Turks might swamp the UK. Getting out of the EU,with it's commitment to freedom of labour, would mean a halt or at least slowing down this level of immigration. Kind of like the controversial issue of immigration from Mexico,to the US .currently.

Also, there is stuff such as loosening the regulatory burden of the legislation that the EU puts on a lot of small businesses, getting control of Britain's fishing waters and the reclaiming of Britain's own seat at the WTO.

Also, with the Euro currency zone currently stagnating economically, there is a feeling among Europe's elites that the EU  should be given greater powers of government spending ie fiscal powers ,along with monetary powers to make the Eurozone work.  Given ,that the UK is not part of the Euro it's difficult to see what role the UK will play in the EU in ,say, ten years time.

Don't think we'll leave.

But you never know,as older folks more in favour of Brexit and they are more likely to vote than the younger generation.

Trump said he would be in the UK, on the day before the referendum.

It'll be like Hofer in Austria last month. The right won, but "they" wouldn't let it happen. If it looks as though it will be a win for the Leave Campaign, they'll lie and make it a close vote so as not to agitate the voters.
