Insane physique
« on: June 20, 2016, 01:23:08 PM »
6'2 Competes at 215 offseason around 230. Claims 100% natural and is trained by Dennis James.  Dennis has publicly appealed to the masses stating anyone that can prove his client Robert Timms is not natural, he'd give them (I don't remember the amount.  it was at least 10gs. He made a video about it. Anyway, This guy's upper body is better than most in the IFBB with alot less muscle. If he competed little heavier as others have said, he'd be the ideal Mr. Olympia.

Here's what I think will happen and it's going to fuck Phil to no end.  This guy, Robert Timms will be the Classic Mr. Olympia. Now word on the street is, is that next year Classic Physique will have a name change and be called Classic Bodybuilding. Also, someone here said and I've heard it a few other places now say there will be a weight increase for the bodybuilders here I've heard 10 lbs and other places I've heard 5-10lbs. So that would but Timms at a competitive 225 onstage with his frame and proportions at 6'2, vs. 5'9 Phil at 250 on stage.  I think the people using their own two eyes will decide Timms at 225 is a more favorable physique than Heath at 250. Timms will be infinitley more aesthetically pleasing with a smaller waist and more human and marketable look to him. Heath will be more dense and thick but he won't be better conditioned.  That's the real argument that people will be making.

Id wager for every ounce of muscle he carries on his upper body hes probably missing from his legs.

Still a great upper body though.

Not sure which street you're listening on in Vegas but when I was there it was just a bunch of fat mid western hillbillies screaming and Mexicans slapping cards with hookers on them.

That would depend on you would define "missing legs".  Do they have to be freak legs like Phil and Kai?  He doesn't have that,no. At his height, he'd have to weigh alot more. But does he have a well developed and well defined, proportioned and separated leg, yes he does.

WIGGS, Great and well thought out analysis regarding TIMMS.

The only negative thing that I can interject is that it's impossible to compare apples and oranges until they both stand side by side during prejudging.

And I'm sure with that you will agree, but TIMMS possibly will eventually (this year or next) be a major threat for the current "big boys" in the game.

As an 'aside' (and it could possibly end up being a problem here) what are your thoughts on the PHYSIQUE judges'd determination that ..."He's too big for PHYSIQUE or CLASSIC BB'? (Regardless of that contender's height and wt.)

Do you foresee any possibility of future problems in that regards?

It seems pretty obvious to me that contest contenders have one more major thing to worry about ....... "Am I really entering the right event ?"

I had to think pretty damn deep to pull  that last statement one out of my but!!

Here's what will really happen - nobody will give a shit.  Marketable-schmarketable - there will be no appeal outside of the niche it already is, because he's just another jacked black guy in the eyes of the public.

Marketable to whom?  Grape Ape has it right: anyone who wants to look at a roided muscle man is already doing so (or going to do so).  This guy is not going to bring anyone new into body building or the Mr. Olympia.  ::)

Body like Robbie's.... 8) hope it stays that way.
As long as he keeps away from too much GH/insulin/HGF, he's natural as far as I am concerned.

"Natural"! Hahahahahahahahahahahaha ha

Listen, this feller has a beyond-wicked upper body (back? Legs?), but he's about as natural as Michael Jackson's face.

What's with the baggy cargoes? Does he not train legs or do they just look natural unlike his upper body? ;-)

I've seen young black guys in the hood that have never touched a weight in their life, not big, but insanely ripped and dry like this guy's conditioning. One guy in particular, thin, but every muscle group visible and separated. Genetics are truly remarkable. I asked him what his diet was, he told me he ate anything he wanted to, including junk food. I couldn't believe it.
