imho bmws are boring these days - the whole cost of the car is just gizmos and very little "ultimate driver machine" the m4 and m6 yes but those are $80k $120k cars now -

you would be better off with a jeep brand SUV - simple, last forever, cheap to maintain

i am german, used to be hard core bmw fan (my father same way) but BMWs are technical nightmares and are no longer the ultimate driving machine they used to be.  - but their sales are strong and soccer moms love them - drivers have just moved to different autos of choice

We do a lot of road trips, cargo room is key so I'm looking to trade it in on a Toyota Highlander towards the end of the year.

Get a moderate amount but I want to use waterseal on it to help it stay clean....I've already have a gallon of the shit so I may as well use it.   I'll be staining and sealing the decks in cherry red.....will look great
