"Elwood man Andrew Taylor, 36, launched his Spud Fit program six months ago to improve his addictive relationship with food.
He says he has yet to cheat on the diet even once.
“I am proud to say I have not even had a single bit of anything that is not potato this year so far,” Mr Taylor told 9NEWS.
“Basically I make mashed potato, boiled potato or baked potatoes, and put a little bit of herbs and spices and maybe some tomato sauce or barbeque sauce.”"
The strength of this is its simplicity. All diets come down to willpower and determination. This allowed a fat fuck to have a simple rule, follow it doggedly, and achieve. There is a tremendous amount to be said for that approach.
