Deputies say Jody Ray Thompson, 32, got into an argument with someone at Playoffz Night Club before firing several rounds toward the crowd, hitting three people.
A fourth person who was nearly hit pulled out his own gun in self defense and shot Thompson in the leg. This man had a valid concealed weapons permit and does not face charges.Thompson, of Lyman, is charged with four counts of attempted murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
None of the injuries the victims suffered appear to be life threatening.
