Would vegans eat this?
« on: July 02, 2016, 04:31:40 PM »
The company “Memphis Meats” has successfully grown real, authentic tasting meat from animal stem cells.

I guess vegans would eat this since they are primarily not eating meat since they don't want animals to be killed?

" real " Vegans wouldn't. It's using animal stem cells and that's morally & ethically wrong.  ::)

OK, so this is going to sound weird... but if this is true, dna is dna, so technically it now appears to be possible to 'grow' human 'meat' too, right?  Sooooo, erm... if someone grew a human flesh-burger and I ate it, does that make me a cannibal?  And could vegans eat humans without breaking their rules?  (Bodybuilding related as that would probably be the most bio-available form of protein you could get)

I don't believe that eating black people is healthy.

Wrong. Ethically no animals are harmed from synthetic meat. So from a moral perspective it makes it much easier to feel OK eating it. Synthetic meat itself has no brain and no feelings. Just like a vegetable.

However quite a few vegans don't like meat anyhow so would not particlary want to eat man made meat anyhow.

For me, personally I would eat it as I am a vegan for ethical reasons but unlike many other vegans I still do actually like the taste of meat.

Being a vegan is more so about being a pathetic, estrogen fuelled, opinionated bitch who wrongly think anyone gives a fuck about the shit they constantly whine on about, rather than what they actually put in their mouth so they will still find something to bitch about, they love nothing more than the sound of their own voice
