No it's not. It's not just an issue of consuming below maintenance. You can easily lose weight and become just a smaller version of yourself (loss of muscle). You can eat foods that cause water retention. You can eat foods that give you low blood sugar/energy/ and hunger issues. That is because you fucked up your macros. Everyone is also different, it doesn't matter what Mentzer did or didn't do, you don't have mentzer's metabolism.
i'm about 6% right now and i got veins all over my quads and some on my abs and cross constraints on my triceps
here's what i ate today
breakkie: mcdonalds double cheesebuger and large coffee with milk and sugar
lunch: chicken breast with the skin on it fried in butter and nachos with salsa dip and 2 cans of coke
din-din: medium supreme pan pizza from pizza slut and 3 glasses of ice tea with lots of sugar in each
i'm not on and clen, t3, etc. only low dose test and higher dose deca
who knows maybe i'm genetically blessed or maybe it's the deca
