why did lance admit to doping ?

I never followed it when it all started, but im curious now, why did he admit it ? was he already caught or was it a case of his use going to be made public from old test records etc .. ?

The guys covering it up admitted , his teammates admitted and accused him beforehand, and I believe his guru was under indictment or something along those lines

iOC and WADA came after him and Opera prob paid him

Biggest thing to me was that hit he took with Nike - fck I bet that hurt

Def has a gh gut. :D

He should have learned to shut his mouth long before all the walls came crashing in. Pissed a lot of people off with his attitude and destroyed other peoples lives.

On the other hand he raised 500M for cancer patients and revitalized the sport.

He would have admitted it earlier but he would have faced purgury charges for his 2005 testomony.  It was safe to come clean when he did because the statute of limitations for his testimony expired 7 years after in 2012, so he's safe to come clean in that aspect

He lost all sponsors and was tainted.  He thought if he admitted his lies that the public would forgive him but it seems they didn't.

well, he had to pay back millions and millions to his previous sponsors.

I think he is quite broke now.
