Why does the "exclusive video" that the nypost obtained only show a few seconds of the incident?  Why is the video edited in several places?  Why does the video have a creepy soundtrack?  

Why ins't the nypost showing the unedited, unaltered footage of the entire incident?  

So many unanswered questions.

IMO, anytime a cop EXAGGERATES the circumstances surrounding a shoot - they should be removed from the force.  Not saying arrest them, etc... but if you stretch even the tiniest detail, you can no longer be trusted.  very rarely do cops see any kind of punishment when video shows their version is a straight up lie.

Not talking about the current scenario but am a little curious if a cop is required or obligated by the same self-defense rules off duty.

Obviously, everything is situational. My standard for discharging a firearm is pretty high but attempting to engage in a fight through a car window wouldn't make sense.

There's an obvious cut and splice of footage.  How much of the footage is missing, and what actually occurred?   

Since the video has obviously been altered, we can assume that a beating probably did occur.

Seriously?  Cops can hide behind that bullshit all day long.  Oh I felt my life was in danger, so I shot him.  That's bullshit..the guy is using his fists, he doesn't have a deadly weapon.  Don't be a pussy, learn how to defend yourself some other way besides shooting someone dead.   The problem I see with a lot of cops is, they are out of shape slobs, weak, and couldn't whip their way out of a wet paper bag, so they probably do feel their lives are in danger..So the first threat they feel, oh shit, get out the gun.  Of course a lot of them are the nerds from high school that were picked on, never had any friends, etc.  So now they're going to show everyone who's boss, and who has some power. 

i didn't read any more posts after this one so maybe someone addressed this. The punching a cop is bad enuff go get shot but don't forget. If he's punching u and u have a deadly weapon in a split second he could very well take that deadly weapon off you. If the youth of America thinks punching cops is ok they deserve what they get.
