Today is the first time I hear about this incident. The MSM totally ignored it, and this is what cops deal with day in day out. The two cops that shot the fat dindu earlier in the week could easily have ended up like Deputy David Michel.

After accused shooter Jerman Neveaux shot JPSO Deputy David Michel once, he grabbed the deputy by the hair and neck before shooting Michel twice more in the back as the deputy "tried to crawl to safety," Sheriff Newell Normand said Friday (June 24).

The details came from a witness, Normand said, who told investigators Neveaux then began to run away with "something black" that the sheriff said was Michel's gun. Neveaux quickly backtracked, placed the officer's gun back next to his body and ran away, Normand said.

The media and certain politicians created this mess. As you can see in Deputy Michel's case they have the power to determine what events people are informed about. There weren't many bodies in the two recent dindu shootings - so why the headlines? And then Deputy Michel's death is completely ignored by the MSM.

The MSM has blood on their hands, and the owners are war criminals. They should be arrested.

A google news search of "David Michel" yields 16,000 results. And a search for "alton sterling" yields 1,280,000 results.  That's 80 times more! And look at the top hits. I don't see any large news organizations covering Michel's shooting. Where's CNN, MSN, New York Times, Washington Post?

I am referring to the large news organizations. And I think most people realize when someone refers to the MSM that they are talking about the big media companies. Not some obscure local news site. Are you really going to argue that Nola has the same viewership as CNN? CNN had one minor report on David Michel and failed to provide any photographs to elaborate on the victim or the perpetrator. The criminal's race was not mentioned. Yet when a white cop shoots a black criminal the race is sometimes even mentioned in the title of the article.

For all intents and purposes they did ignore the David Michel shooting. By a factor of 80 compared with the Alton Sterling shooting.

16k hits is nothing. Most people have not heard of David Michel.

Race was never mentioned in the nbcnews article. A white cop was killed by a black criminal and they never pointed this fact out. Yet when a white cop kills a black criminal in self defense it is front page news for weeks or months and race is mentioned everywhere in the articles.

And let's face it, you did not know about this incident till I posted it. I never saw you lamenting the killing of this white officer on Getbig. Yet you were all over the thread of the black criminal shot by the hispanic cop.

In New York City, white cab drivers had a habit of not picking up black passengers. This was blamed on racism. I agree that the majority is apathetic, but 50% of the US population is totally dependent on government hand out programs.  All that needs to happen is to turn off their EBT cards, their welfare and unemployment checks.  The resulting chaos would be worse than any natural disaster or terrorist attack I could think of.

You're right, but, pretty much every politician on either side of the aisle know this. Social Security and Medicare comprise half of the federal budget and are obviously unsustainable, yet, even Donald Trump wants nothing to do with the problem.
