What's the actual backstory behind the obvious racebating? I actually thought it was going to be some redneck until I clicked the link to the video(didn't watch, I hate gore).

What were they arguing about and why put a gun on the table?

Seems like those arguments were on a daily basis and the teenager was probably fed up with it (and his current lifesituation)

The reaction of the teenager "Not this again, tired of it! BAM!"

Morons and guns, nothing new. Typical insanely exaggerated reactions of mentally handicap people..

Father was a policeman, he was arguing with the son about not helping his mum out enough etc.Father put the gun down and said go on shoot me, son shot himself.

I'm amazed I made it to 20 without killing myself or someone else.  I was taut as piano wire.  Sad we don't all make it through.  Never get to fall in love, never get to be cool.

I don't think he realized he shot himself just that he may have pulled the trigger. Gonna have to live with that for a while.  :-\

Old story, think it was in the Philippines. Dad got pissed at kid, gave him the gun in a 'shoot me, then' kinda way. Kid smoked hisself instead.
