I think the argument could be made that it could potentially help going that route.

The hardcore NeverTrump crowd

are out of the picture so they don't matter.

Millions of Trump supporters won't switch back to Hillary because they completely despise her.

So in theory, bringing a Dem VP on board could potentially bring over a decent amount of independents.

Love Newt, he was my first pick a few years ago but I tend to agree. Just doesn't look well together. Something like 6 marriages between the two...not good.

Newt would actually be a good choice for VP IMO. If Trump is going to be president, he needs to have at least one person who knows what he's doing, is smart, and isn't afraid to tell him he's wrong.

See, I think for me it's such a wash I have to go elsewhere.

1. I hate Hillary.
2. I hate Trump
3. I hate Obamacare
4. I kind of want a "somewhat" liberal SC Justice, but only on things like gay marriage and shit like that. I don't want them messing with the 2nd amendment.

Neither Trump nor Hillary will do what I want.

At least if I vote the Libertarian, I can say they will leave people alone and leave the 2nd amendment alone.

Also an idea of isolationism in regards to fighting wars across the world sounds ok to me right now.

Save us some money.

He really needs to go female IMO. Can't think of too many males he'd pair well with. Newt would be the worst imo with Christie not much better.

And anyone he's traded shots w should be out of the question, it seems. The commercials are as good as made in those cases, and they wouldn't be helpful to him.
