I think the only appropriate response here is to institute some common sense laws about truck ownership.  I suggest a 30 day waiting period when renting a truck and background checks on all fuel purchases.  Nobody needs a 5th wheel truck except for police.  We should also limit truck fuel capacities to 5 gallons.  If the truck driver in Nice hadn’t been able to fill up his 50 gallon tank beforehand a lot of people would still be alive today.

It’s only common sense folks….

he was estimated to be driving 25mph , so to drive one mile at 25mph , it would take you  144 seconds  or about 2 minutes

i think they reacted pretty quickly
